Kendrick Lamar Performs ‘Not Like Us’ for the First Time at Juneteenth Concert

He actually performed it five times at his hometown show ‘The Pop Out: Ken & Friends’

Kendrick Lamar’s Juneteenth concert, The Pop Out: Ken & Friends, was a wild night! At the show, he debuted a song that disses Drake, called “Not Like Us.” This might be a super important moment in rap history! The concert happened at a big venue in LA called the Kia Forum and was announced last minute. People all over the internet could watch it live.

The coolest part? Kendrick performed “Not Like Us” five whole times! Each time was crazier than the last. He even asked the crowd if they would let anyone disrespect the West Coast (where Kendrick is from). The audience went wild every time! For one performance, there were even fireworks and dancers! People loved it so much they wanted to hear it again, so Kendrick did it a fourth time with a bunch of other famous rappers and even a basketball player! The last time he performed it, there were dozens of people on stage having fun with Kendrick.

Fans went crazy for these tracks, along with his other hits like “DNA,” “Alright,” and “King Kunta.” Throughout the show, Lamar shared the stage with his former labelmates Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, and ScHoolboy Q.

Some thought Lamar might skip “Not Like Us” altogether. After all, the concert seemed named after a line from the song, and he already released five diss tracks against Drake. It could have been a celebration of his music without mentioning the feud. But Lamar surprised everyone again by opening with this intense song.

Instead of focusing on negativity, Lamar used the concert to bring people together. He acknowledged the city’s complex hip-hop scene, mentioning how violence has taken a toll. He even included artists from rival gangs, showing the unifying power of music. Lamar promised this would be the first of many collaborations to come.
